General
Een deel van het bestaande zorgcentrum werd afgebroken en vernieuwd met een gebouw waarin zorgwoningen werden gecombineerd met een gezondheidscentrum, restaurant, winkels en activiteitenruimtes.
Ook werden twee lossen gebouwen toegevoegd met appartementen in de sociale huursector. De architectuur en de ligging suggereren een luxere uitstraling dan gewoonlijk bij sociale woningbouw. En dat is te prijzen. Het moet hier fijn wonen zijn aan de rand van het gerenoveerde Genderpark.
