Although the collaboration between Tom van Odijk and David Baars has been going back for some time, TomDavid Architects has been officially in existence since 2008. A compact team works on a variety of successful (inter) national assignments of both temporary and permanent nature. Client, user and environment are central to the growing portfolio of successful projects that do justice to the request and at the same time surprise their clients. TomDavid finds inspiration in the poly-technical possibilities and social and economic mechanisms. With the award-winning design for a sustainable market square in Casablanca and the water pavilion for the World Exhibition in Shanghai, TomDavid's work has also acquired an international position.
