Van Dongen-Koschuch Architects and Planners is an architecture firm based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The relatively ‘young’ firm can build on 30 years of experience in the field and was founded in 2012, consisting of Frits van Dongen and Patrick Koschuch, who both were involved with the ArchitektenCie. Co-founded by Frits van Dongen in 1988, de ArchitektenCie is a large and internationally renowned architecture office in the Netherlands, where Frits van Dongen was founder, co-director and partner until the founding of Van Dongen-Koschuch Architects and Planners in 2012. Van Dongen-Koschuch offers her clients tailor-made professional advice in the fields of urbanism, architecture and the interior. The firm can rely on an extended, international and multi-disciplinary network in the building sector that has been cultivated over the years. The portfolio shows a wide variety and diversity of projects with a focus on urban planning, cultural and public buildings and medium to large scale housing projects. Often projects by Van Dongen-Koschuch Architects and Planners are characterized by the complexity on different scales and consist of urban design, landscape, architectural and interior components.
