Essenburgsingel Pumping Station

Both an engineering structure and a work of art, the new Essenburgsingel pumping station in Rotterdam has been designed with a striking drop-shaped superstructure created in close consultation with local residents. Thanks to the new pumping station, the water supply system in North Rotterdam and Delfshaven will be more sustainable, more environmentally friendly, and better able to withstand extreme weather conditions. Iv-Water was commissioned by M.J. Oomen to prepare the final design and the execution plans for the pumping station.
