Low-energy Installations Office Van Oord

The head office of Van Oord is situated at the foot of the Brienenoord Bridge in Rotterdam. The building has a surface area of 15,900 m² and its design features numerous nautical aspects. Iv-Bouw produced the design for the low-energy installations for the indoor configuration, checked the designs of the basic installations and oversaw work in progress. All installations are remotely controllable by means of a building management system. The building has different levels of security and is very clearly segmented in terms of access privileges. A sophisticated access control system was devised for this purpose.
