Oceanco Dry Dock

The customer had a clear vision: ‘Give us a functional building with the look and feel of a showroom and a museum-like climate enabling us to take the next step towards building luxury yachts, the step from yachts of 100 to 140 metres and longer.’ To materialise this objective, it was decided to develop a dry dock. The design was split into two parts: roughly speaking, the superstructure and the substructure. In this process, Iv-Consult was responsible for the substructure, consisting of the dry dock complete with foundations, the main dock gate and an intermediate gate.
