Q Residences is gesitueerd op het kruispunt van de Buitenveldertselaan en de Van Nijenrodeweg, een markante kruising van twee belangrijke stedelijke structuren in het Algemeen Uitbreidingsplan (AUP) van Cornelis van Eesteren. Het complex bestaat uit twee woongebouwen – een toren en een schijf – rondom een ‘plaza’. De zorgvuldige stedenbouwkundige inpassing, de uitgesproken architectuurtaal en het hoge afwerkingsniveau geven het project iconische waarde.
