Escherbrug
General
De EscherBrug is een brug over de Voorste Stroom voor langzaamverkeer en vormt de nieuwe oeververbinding tussen het Leypad en Stroomdalpad in Oisterwijk. De hybride hout-staal constructie heeft een geometrie die geinspireerd is op de bolperspectieven van Escher. De vormgeving en het gebruik van materiaal geven de brug een landelijk karakter en verbeeldt de sprong over het water. De brede leuning nodigt uit om stil te staan en te genieten van het uitzicht op het fraaie landschap.
Adviesbureau Lüning verzorgde als hoofdconstructeur het constructief ontwerp en de berekeningen van de brug.
