General
Overall strategy of Latvian Railway is the development and modernization of East – West transport corridor, which includes the reconstruction of marshalling ramp of Šķirotava station, in order to increase the cargo transportation capacity.
The purpose of the Contract is to fulfill the functions of the Engineer for the “Reconstruction of marshalling ramp of Šķirotava station”. The Engineer has to ensure the supervision and management of the Work contract according to FIDIC rules and all valid construction legislation of the Republic of Latvia so that the construction will be finished according to the Work contract
Movares fulfills the function as Hump Control System Expert in the aforementioned project.
