Bicycle parking

Soon, the largest bicycle parking structure in the world will be built underneath the Station Square in Utrecht, offering space to 12,500 bikes. The Station Square, located between Utrecht Central Station and the Hoog Catharijne shopping centre, is home to a variety of restaurant patios and shops. The main road for cars will be eliminated. For cyclists, however, a path for through traffic will be created. Those travelling by bike will be able to ride under the square, park their bicycle on one of three levels and stroll into the station in no time at all.
