Dune home - Oostvoorne

In a nature area on the borders of the dunes of Oostvoorne stands the house of Piet and Caroline. They pursued their dream to realize a home next to their parents-(in-law) on this beautiful piece of land, for more than ten years. The process of changing the ground property from garden to living was time consuming, but the ecological biobased home that fits to the plot like a hand in a glove, helped to make it possible.

The law chalet form house has a basement that stick for about a meter above the garden level and are cladded with stone strips. The timber frame walls are placed on top and will have dry feet, even in a case of high water level.
